It would also save fabric on things like placemats because you wouldn't have to do the reverse-side -- you could just frame the edges with a lightweight bias-binding! Posted: 5:01 pm on September 29th

I sure hope that I am the lucky winner because I need to make even more bias tape for the new aprons I am sewing for my daughter-in-law's female relatives in Japan --- they all look so cute in their aprons and I have a couple of darlings patterns that require lots and lots of bias tape to give them that beautiful finished look. I hope they'll make attachments available for different size bindings, like the old fashioned binding makers have. They come in three sizes. I hope this machine will eventually have the same options, it would be great!
Thanks for showing us how this works. :) Posted: 4:00 pm on September 7th

The bias maker would be a wonderful timesaver for me - as I design quilts with a LOT of bias - with bias tape being over 50% of the designs.
I hope that someone on the website corrects the problem I'm having - so I might properly enter the contest. Thanks - in advance - for helping. Posted: 3:03 pm on September 7th
Could really use one of these bias makers. Especially since I sew late into the night, and could make the bias with fabric on hand.
Thanks Posted: 2:56 pm on September 7th
Thanks,
Poppysquash2 Posted: 2:53 pm on September 7th
more projects done more quickly. Advantage of creating the bias color of your choice is truly amazing, expecially for those of us who sew late into the night.
Thanks. Posted: 2:52 pm on September 7th
Thank you for posting such a great prize.

I am also self-taught, majored in art in school but wasn't interested in sewing until I became pregnant years ago and wanted new clothes. With my budget, decided making them myself was the way! A good friend helped with the first maternity dress. By the time I delivered another close friend asked for all of my sewing garments when SHE became pregnant!! Then, I knew I could sew well enough for others, this was over 36 years ago, and I'm still doing it!!
With my background in art sewing was an easy transistion. THREADS magazine has been instrumental over the years in the evolvement of my sewing skills, I love to sew, it is so relaxing. I still have and use all of my magazines for tips and ideas, but in addition, I absolutely LOVE the website.
Hope I'm one of the winners, sew on, sisters and brothers,
sew on!!!
