My son works at an elementary school. He decided to be “D J Lance Rock” from “YoGabbaGabba” to go with my Granddaughters “Toodee” costume (also posted). For this costume I made a jumpsuit and added an additional jipper in front for practical purposes. The overlay stripes were fused then sewn in place. The challange with this costume was the hat and belt. We could not find a fur or shag in orange, so I had to dye the shag fabric for the hat. My son purchased an inexpensive white belt then made the “Rock” buckle out of reinforced glitter paper and cut the letters with a scalpel. He also made the stars for the hat. The kids at school and his daughter loved it. It was a fun Halloween for all, except that Grandma was exhausted.
